Not sure if you remember, but last year on my Date Night with the kids we went to go eat dinner with the cows at the big grassy area by my work called The Moor. Last night we decided to go play music to the cows. So we grabbed the guitars, cowboy music, and a tamborine and headed out through tall grass to find the cows.
We found them and pitched in the grass to begin the serenade. I played a few campfire and cowboy songs. The kids lost interst and started to fling the tambourine across the field and then chase it. Maya took off her shoes (don't tell Amanda) and ran through the tall grass running through you know what. I belted out "Fire on the Mountain", "Ghost Riders in the Sky"...you know, Texas cattle herding or California gold digging music. When I finished we noticed that all the cows were about a half mile away.
We'd driven the British cows away with our Yankee music. Go figure. So we took our poopy feet back toward the car. Stopped and admired some mushrooms along the way and headed home with a blazing sky bidding us good-night. But we're not giving up on these cows. The herding has just begun!

Funny one! Guess those British cows just don't know good music when they hear it.
