Baba Dora is with us and we've been to the coast the last three weekends in a row. The first weekend was really nice and sunny, the second we had the worst hamburgers (can't really call it that) on the planet, and today we had the best fish and chips on the planet. It's extreme on the coast. And today very cold.
We just got home, and we took the long way around (thanks to the new GPS unit that never allows us to get lost). We just hit "Detour" and it helps to get us back on track wherever we are. So we drove up and down the coast, saw a lighthouse on an island that has a road leading to it. The road was under water since the tide was high. Man that North Sea is cold. Then we stopped by our big grocery store and Momma and Baba went shopping while Julian, Maya and I napped in the car.
You may be wondering why I'm telling you all of this while the topic of today's blog is about chipmunks. Well it took us about 2 hours after the fish and chips place to get home. We just found out that Maya has been keeping fish and chips in her cheeks. She'll do that with nuts and just about anything. We've never heard of anything like it, have you ? So we call her Chipmunk Maya. Storing her fish and chips in her cheeks for winter.
