Obviously our kids are too young to know about marriage, but they've heard about it and to them it seems like something you do to show people you love them. So Julian and Maya said they wanted to get married. Julian put on a wonderful jacket and clip on tie that he got from his friend Evilo in Colorado and Maya threw on a veil we had lying around. They looked too sweet to tell them the details so we didn't bother. We'll leave politicians to worry about who's allowed to marry. We're just happy the kids already know about love as the foundation of marriage and that they remind us about what's at the core of things when you look beyond the details.
